We use reemay for keeping carrots free from carrot rust fly, and pests from broccoli and cabbage.
Plastic cloches warm up the soil for early spring seeding and small seedlings; in the summer we use a plastic cloche over a raised bed of watermelon, honeydew melon and muskmelons (below).
